Here Maddie poses with Dr. Kurt Newman! Dr. Newman was John's initial contact at Children's Hospital, he was recommended to John by John's pediatric surgeon, Dr. Malvin Weinberger. While he wasn't Maddie's surgeon, he followed her closely, even visiting her on her second day of life, the day after she was born. Here they are reacquainted.
