Today was a big day for both Anna and Madeline. Not only did we celebrate Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday (also the birthday of John's Aunt Gisela AND the day he got home from the hospital nearly three months after he was born), but both girls had milestones. As you can see, Anna had her firth bath. For someone who hates being cold, she seemed to enjoy having the water splashed on her. As for Maddie, well, she pooped. That's a huge deal, as it means her intestines are working and she will get to be fed tomorrow! The doctors are starting small - 5 cc's per three or six hours, but she is on her way to getting home soon...
